When God first spoke to me concerning this, I thought it was only about prayer and being consistent. But then He kept bringing His word back to me and saying it over and over again.

That is when I realized that there was more to it than just prayer. And I needed to dig deeper to find out what it was. And so I went digging (spiritual digging of course), until I realized what He was trying to tell me.

It wasn’t just about prayer. It was much more. It was about the spiritual realm, the nature of God, how God deals with us and His relationship with us.

Proverb 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all inward parts of the belly.

You see, because God is a Spirit, He only deals with us in the spirit, and spiritually and not emotionally because He is not an emotional God.

Furthermore, because God only deals with us in the spirit, we can only deal with Him in the spirit. We cannot use emotions to deal with God because He is not an emotional God. We also cannot use feelings because He is not a God of feelings.

Therefore, our emotions and our feelings should not decide whether we pray or how we should relate to HIM.

When you die to yourself(or rather the flesh), you become dead to your emotions and worldly intellect and you are alive in the spirit and the things of the spirit.

The decisions you make are dictated by the things of the spirit and not the things of the flesh like emotions because you are dead to your flesh but alive to and in your spirit.

So your spirit determines all things and controls all things. Your soul has caught up to your spirit and it is therefore one with your spirit.

A marriage between the soul and the spirit takes place. They are intertwined!!

The character of God can only be understood by the spirit.

Agape is a love of and from the spirit. Human beings have tried to understand agape with their emotions and human intellect and have concluded that unconditional love only exists between man and God and not man and man.

But here is the point, to love unconditionally, you have to love from the place of the spirit not from a physical or emotional place. It is not something that comes emotionally but spiritually. It is something that is birthed from the spirit.

And when we love from a place of the spirit, we can see and understand things more clearly. Because we see things from a spiritual and godly perspective and not a worldly one.

Agape is a Character of the spirit but not just any spirit. A spirit birthed from God and created by and born of God. To experience Agape and understand it fully, you must live in the realm of Agape. Also known as the realm of God…
