“I’m broken, my family is broken”,  said Nox

“I’m broken too”, responded Archie.

At the time, this was love… sweet sound love.  Nox and Archie found happiness in one another!  And outside of each other, neither knew how to exist.

It was like two roses intertwined together for life, unable to be apart without breaking. Two broken pieces coming together as a whole object, or so Archie thought at the time.

He thought he could make this work!

It was so romantic and passionate. A love for the world to see and be jealous of.

However, slowly but surely, Nox and Archie being together was tearing their worlds apart.

Their pain united did not make them whole or happy. It only caused more trauma and more pain.  Hurt people hurt people because they have no way of healing.

They had not found the path to healing. He needed to be healed and stop hurting and hurting others.

Nox and Archie’s relationship lasted for two years, until Archie realised that he had to cut ties with his love in order to heal.

It was the messiest breakup ever and he knew he would lose his best friend.

However, this was something that needed to be done for his healing process to begin. He was tired of being in this pit of darkness. Always feeling low and out of it and never really present in the moment.

All he did was hover. Always hovering, but never around Nox.

He needed to stop hovering without her.

Find his centre and his balance.  He knew what he had to do to heal.  He needed to be dissected to unveil the layers within to realise the root cause of his pain.

The ironic part of all this was that he needed to be broken for his healing to begin.  He knew he had to go back to where it all started.  To where the pain began. The place of his undoing.

The place that moulded Archie to what he had become and what he no longer wanted to be.   He had to go back to the beginning to get to the end.

But alas, Archie knew he could not do it alone and needed help to get to where he had longed for his whole life…

Sanity and tranquility.
