The number of experiences we have had
The number of sleeps and wakings
The number of changes we have made
The number of disappointments
Promises kept and unkept
The number of sunrises we have seen
The number of sunsets seen
Age is just a number
It only determines how long we have lived
Not how long we will live.
It has no bearing on our past, future or present.
Unless we allow it…
As my years so shall my strength be
You only get stronger, not weaker
If you believe it.
It doesn’t determine health or illnesses.
It is not a timeline or a map.
It allows us to count our time on earth.
How long we have breathed and keep breathing.
How long we have walked and worked.
Suffered or enjoyed.
How long we have endured.
We live within time for sanity and commitment.
Not for destiny or destination,
Not for purpose or success,
Not for marriage or childbearing,
Not for the important things.
Outside of time, age is nonexistent
God is the author of time
What is age when we have Him?!
