I am worthy of self-love

If you say you love me, does that mean you will never hate me?
Does that mean you will never forsake me?
Will you always be there when I need you?
If you say you love me, does that mean you will adore me, cherish me?
Does that mean you will choose me?
Are you satisfied with my look and my body?
If you say you love me, will you hold me?
Will you forgive me for the stupid choices I have made and things I have done?
If you say you love me, does that mean you wouldn’t hurt me?
Does that mean you wouldn’t make me cry?
Does that mean you wouldn’t betray me?
Does that mean you wouldn’t reduce me to nothing with your words?

Or inflict harm on me?
Does that mean you will never embarrass me with your outbursts?
Does that mean you care?
If you say you love me
Why don’t you check upon me?
Why do you get easily angry with me?
Why can’t you overlook things?
Why don’t you trust me or believe in me?
Why do you say I am ugly and pointless and stupid?
Will you be present?
Will you be forthcoming?
Will you be honest with me?
No more cowering
No more hiding
No more lying and pretending
Just plain old love
The one you read in the old book….
If you say you love me, then love me first before trying to love someone else.
❤❣💋💘
I love this love letter!! I should write one to myself.
Thank you. I felt like I needed to be honest about how I show love to myself
